Al MacDonald is the founder of Seven Springs Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills. MacDonald has been a key proponent for wine education and sustainability, beginning the Vineyard Management/Winemaking (now Wine Studies) program at Chemeketa Community College, and he has also been heavily involved in the creation of the LIVE (Low Input Viticulture & Enology) program.
