Brooks Winery Collection
In 2018, Brooks Winery celebrated its 20th year. When founder Jimi Brooks – a Linfield College alumnus – unexpectedly passed away in September of 2004, a group of his wine industry friends graciously came forward and donated their time and energy to complete that harvest in Brooks’s style.
Through interviews with those who helped keep the winery afloat after Jimi’s death, this project between the Oregon Wine History Archive and Brooks Winery sheds light on a story of camaraderie in the face of tragedy in the Oregon wine industry.
