Abstract

This interview is an oral history conducted by Linfield College archivist Rich Schmidt with Don, Wendy, and Jesse Lange of Lange Estate Winery & Vineyards. The interview took place at Lange Estate Winery in Dundee, Oregon on July 30, 2018.

Don and Wendy Lange are the co-founders of Lange Estate Winery & Vineyards, where Don serves as executive winemaker and Wendy serves as managing partner. Jesse Lange, Don and Wendy's son, is the winemaker and general manager at Lange Estate Winery & Vineyards. In this interview, Don and Wendy discuss how they got into the industry and how they grew as a label. Jesse adds in his opinions of the Oregon wine industry and talks about his experience as a second-generation winemaker in the family business.
