Abstract
This interview is an oral history conducted by Linfield College archivist Rich Schmidt with Thomas Houseman of Anne Amie Vineyards. The interview took place at Anne Amie Vineyards in Carlton, Oregon on June 19, 2018.
Thomas Houseman is winemaker at Anne Amie Vineyards. In this interview, Houseman tells the story of how he eventually arrived in the wine industry after a career as a professional dancer and amateur home brewer. Houseman discusses how his creative side informs his winemaking, explaining the similarities to dancing. He also talks about the unique style of wines that he makes and the future of the Oregon wine industry.
