Abstract
This interview is an oral history conducted by Linfield College archivist Rich Schmidt with Jim Anderson of Patricia Green Cellars. The interview took place at Patricia Green Cellars in Newberg, Oregon on December 10, 2019.
Jim Anderson is the owner and winemaker at Patricia Green Cellars. In this interview, Anderson explains how he first got into the wine industry and later became involved in Oregon's wine industry. He talks about his relationship with business partner and co-founder Patty Green, as well as how he decided to start a label and build a brand. Anderson describes his winemaking philosophy, what his success means to him, and where he sees Patricia Green Cellars heading in the future. Anderson concludes the interview by looking to the future of the industry and offering words of wisdom to newcomers.
