Abstract
This interview is is an oral history conducted by Linfield College archivist Rich Schmidt with Stewart Boedecker and Athena Pappas of Boedecker Cellars. The interview took place at Boedecker Cellars in Portland, Oregon on August 16, 2017.
Stewart Boedecker and Athena Pappas are owners/winemakers at Boedecker Cellars, an urban winery in Portland, Oregon. In this interview, Boedecker and Pappas first talk about what drew them to the wine industry and why they decided to make wine in Portland. They then discuss their different styles of winemaking. Pappas also addresses what it's like being a businesswoman in 2017.
