Abstract
Professor Tyrone "Ty" Marshall taught Theatre Arts at Linfield College for 31 years.
This interview takes place in Professor Marshall's office on the Linfield campus. In the interview, Marshall talks about discovering the theatre community, his first set design, and how he came to be a professor at Linfield. He also discusses his proudest moments as a professor, some of his favorite sets, and he provides advice for future Linfield students.

At 10:24 in the video, Marshall says Lucia Victor was the first woman to work as a playwright on Broadway. Victor was actually the first woman to work as a stage manager on Broadway; she worked regularly with Gower Champion after their initial collaboration on "Hello, Dolly!"
