Abstract

Russ Ratto graduated from Linfield College in 1976.

This interview takes place in the Jereld R. Nicholson Library's Austin Reading Room. In this interview, Ratto discusses how he ended up at Linfield College to play football but later discovered the true power of a liberal arts education. Ratto describes how a liberal arts education allowed him to see that if he didn't have all the answers in life, he at least understood there were questions that neeeded to be asked. He also talks about how Linfield prepared him for law school, as well as how being himself has led him to have both a successful and satisfying career.
