Description
The Nürnberg Opera House in Germany was turned into a G.I. Special Service theater. Symphony concerts, operas, plays, movie,s and U.S.O. shows were held there. The people standing in front of the Opera House are all soldiers waiting to enter.
Bob Jones, who took this photo when he was stationed in Germany for the U.S. Army, was a professor of physics at Linfield College from 1955-1987.
