Description

The average person receives dozens of emails daily, making it increasingly difficult to identify priority messages, track critical deadlines, and maintain inbox organization. BriefBox addresses this challenge by providing an AI-powered email summarization service that connects securely to a user's Microsoft Outlook account and delivers a concise daily digest directly to their mobile device via SMS.

Upon authentication, BriefBox leverages large language model technology to analyze and categorize incoming emails across multiple classifications — including education, healthcare, billing, promotions, and time-sensitive correspondence. The system intelligently extracts key information such as upcoming deadlines, appointments, required responses, and important dates, presenting them in a structured and digestible format without requiring the user to manually sort through their inbox.

The resulting summary is delivered as a daily text message, eliminating the need for a separate application or web interface and ensuring accessibility across all mobile devices. BriefBox is designed with user privacy as a foundational principle. No email content, personal data, or account credentials are stored or retained on any external server at any point during the process. All analysis occurs within a secure session, and once the summary is delivered, all data is immediately discarded. BriefBox demonstrates a practical and privacy-respecting application of natural language processing and API integration to solve a universally experienced productivity problem.
