The focus of my presentation is the journey I have taken at Linfield College to strive for a career in the wine industry. My journey to Linfield began by leaving the comfort of Maui, Hawaii to gain a degree. The initial focus was on management and expanded to the new wine studies program my junior year. Since then, my internships and work have been mainly focused on the business and hospitality aspects of the industry, with small influences from enology/viticulture. In my presentation, I share my experiences at Domaine Serene, Northwest Wine Co., and the extra projects with which I have been involved over the past two years and will continue after graduation.
