Samuel Wasser, Director of the Center for Conservation Biology at the University of Washington and a pioneer of noninvasive wildlife monitoring methods, speaks about elephant poaching. The lecture kicks off the 2015-2016 campus-wide theme for the Program for Liberal Arts and Civic Engagement (PLACE), "Air, Water, Earth and Fire: The Ancient Elements on a Changing Planet."
