Description
Laurent Montalieu is photographed during an oral history interview at NW Wine Company in Dundee, Oregon on September 5, 2017. Montalieu was interviewed by Linfield College Archives staff Stephanie Hofmann.
Laurent Montalieu is the co-founder and executive winemaker at Westmount Wine Company. Raised in Guadaloupe and Bordeaux, France, Montalieu moved to Oregon in 1987 and began making wine for Bridgeview Vineyards. In 1995, he moved on to WillaKenzie Estate, where he became a partner and winemaker. Montalieu is also the owner of NW Wine Company, a custom winegrowing facility, and co-owner (with his wife, Danielle Andrus Montalieu) of Soléna Estate.
