Description
An Edison home phonograph is displayed at the home of Mike and Drenda Bayliss in Carlton, Oregon. This image was taken during an oral history interview with the Baylisses on May 5, 2016. The Baylisses were interviewed by Linfield College archivist Rachael Cristine Woody.
Mike and Drenda Bayliss are the owners of Ghost Hill Cellars in Carlton, Oregon, located on a portion of the 234-acre farm that has been in the family since 1906. The first vines were planted in 1999, and the winery is both LIVE (Low Input Viticulture & Enology) certified and Salmon-Safe. One hundred percent of the fruit used to produce the wines for Ghost Hill Cellars comes from the estate vineyard, but the Baylisses also sell some of their grapes to other local wineries.
