Description
Juan Pablo "JP" Valot is photographed during an oral history interview at the Jereld R. Nicholson Library at Linfield College on July 19, 2016. Valot was interviewed by Linfield College archivist Rachael Cristine Woody.
Juan Pablo Valot is the winemaker for Silvan Ridge Winery in Eugene, Oregon, a position he has held since 2012. A native of Mendoza, Argentina, Valot came to Oregon in 2001 looking for new challenges. Before working for Silvan Ridge, Valot worked in Argentina as an oenologist, as well as for Willamette Valley Vineyards, Soter Vineyards, and Dobbes Family Estate.
