Abstract
This interview is an oral history conducted by Linfield College archivist Rich Schmidt and staff member Stephanie Hofmann with members of the Oregon Wine Brotherhood. The interviews took place at the Jereld R. Nicholson Library at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon during July and August 2017.
The Oregon Wine Brotherhood is an association of individuals, both within and independent of the wine industry, dedicated to promoting and supporting the wines of Oregon and southern Washington through education, scholarships, ceremony, and brotherhood. The Oregon Wine Brotherhood is a chartered member of the Fédération Internationale des Confréries Bachiques (FICB) in Paris, France. This interview includes discussions with six founding members: Paul de Boni, Diane Diamond, Ron Hayes, Paul Hart, Pat Campbell, and Joe Campbell. They talk about their time as members and the history of the organization, as well as discussing the organization's philanthropic efforts to raise money for college students interested in studying the wine industry.
