Abstract

Rusty Gaffney discusses Dick Erath and his "Clone 95" Pinot Noir in this article from his "Prince of Pinot" blog, volume 9, issue 38. He tells of the development of Erath Winery and Erath's relationship with Cal Knudsen. Gaffney covers Erath's involvement with lobbying to limit grapevines with viruses being imported into Oregon and how Erath's own vines were affected.
