Abstract
This interview is an oral history conducted by Linfield College archivist Rich Schmidt with Joan Drabkin. The interview took place at the Jereld R. Nicholson Library at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon on June 26, 2017.
Joan Drabkin has been involved in the Oregon wine industry at multiple points in her life. In this interview, Drabkin talks about being friends with the early wine pioneers, working at Nick's, and being involved with the start of the International Pinot Noir Celebration (IPNC). She also talks about her daughter, Remy Drabkin, being in the wine industry and starting her own winery, Remy Wines.
