Abstract
This interview is an oral history conducted by Linfield College archivist Rich Schmidt with Elaine Brown, a traveling wine writer. The interview took place at the Jereld R. Nicholson Library at Linfield College on February 26, 2018.
Elaine Chukan Brown serves as the American Specialist at JancisRobinson.com, a contributing writer with Wine & Spirits Magazine, a blogger (at Hawk Wakawaka Wine Reviews), and a speaker at events worldwide. In this interview, Brown talks about her transition from higher education to the wine industry and the challenges of writing about wine. She also discusses her favorite things to write about and the future of the industry.
