In the 2023 Jane Claire Dirks-Edmunds lecture, Dr. Jo Handelsman (director of the Wisconsin Institute of Discovery at the University of Wisconsin-Madison) discusses her research related to the loss of nutrient-rich soil due to climate change and current farming practices and ways in which to mitigate or reverse the damage.
