Abstract

This interview is an oral history with Evelyn Stewart conducted by Alyssa Ralston and Tori Neitzke .The interview took place at the Jereld R. Nicholson Library at Linfield University on November 1, 2023.

Evelyn is a Linfield alumni from the class of ‘57. Evelyn shares it all from winning Homecoming Queen to her French trips abroad. Evelyn talks about being born in McMinnville to a larger family. She dives into her childhood of moving a lot and being the daughter of a Minister. Evelyn then shares about all of her college adventures while attending Linfield. She dives into stories about working in the library, her academics, and her sorority life.

Later on, Evelyn shares about her studies abroad in France. She talks about the memories she made and the life-long friends she gained. Evelyn also shares her hopes for Linfield’s future.
