International Programs

Mission Statement

In advancing the mission of learning, life and community that honors the rich texture of diverse cultures and varied ways of understanding, Linfield University, through the efforts of the International Programs Office (IPO), encourages students to develop a global perspective in a variety of ways, including the study of foreign languages, meaningful encounters with other cultures beyond the classroom and, in their post-Linfield lives, the ability to navigate in a world that is ever more technologically and culturally interconnected. We believe that effective international education should integrate experiences abroad with a stimulating international environment on the home campus.
