Abstract
The Faculty Development Grant project proposal, “Professional Recording, Production, and Editing of Original Music Compositions,” was partially funded. The following expenditures were paid by this grant: hiring a professional music copyist to format and edit the performers’ parts and the conductor’s score for the premiere performance of Water Sings Fire for Orchestra January 10-12, 2019 by the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra; printing costs of the orchestral scores and parts; and costs associated with the professional recording (documentation) of two movements of the song cycle, From Cycles of Eternity by In Mulieribus, Dr. Anna Song, artistic director. In Mulieribus released their fifth recording, “Cycles of Eternity,” in March 2019.
