Abstract
This interview is an oral history conducted by Linfield College Archives staff Rich Schmidt and student Stephanie Hofmann with Michael Claypool, of Clay Pigeon Winery. The interview took place at Clay Pigeon Winery on July 25th, 2016.
Michael Claypool is the owner and winemaker at Clay Pigeon Winery. In the interview, Claypool talks about the influence of being a sommelier on his winery, how being in an urban setting affects his business, and advice for anyone wanting to get into the industry.
