A Night in New Orleans, written by Janet Gupton, with production advisor Kahlil Pedizisai, is a theatrical film production that has been in the works since Fall 2020 and is set to premiere April 2021. The show takes place in New Orleans leading up to the 1918 pandemic and is a fictionalized account of real events that took place in the Red-Light district of Storyville. The production follows three madams and their successes in becoming businesswomen during the time of rampant racism in the South and taboo among sex workers.

Hannah Curry and David Gray will present on the process of filming and editing the production and what they found were the challenges and successes of creating theatre in a different way to adapt to the pandemic.
