This presentation features readings from “Look to the Quiet Sky,” a collection of short stories by Jordan Keller. The collection investigates the experience of women in the United States through a blend of fiction, nonfiction, and fantasy/myth. Special attention is paid to the relationship between women and silence, how what cannot be spoken reflects oppression, and also how silence can be a form of protection and rebellion.
