Abstract
Cumulonimbus for 2-Channel Fixed Media looks at synthesized sounds that mimic nature. It explores different layers of rhythmic material that vary from organic acceleration to more static pulses. The idea of wind and water pervades the music across the frequency spectrum and is interpreted through software synthesizers in Logic Pro X. The composition was realized in the Composers’ Studio at Linfield College.
