Volume 9, Number 2 (2012) Fall 2012
Two years, 150 hours of audio and video, and 15,000 photos have been amassed by Linfield students and faculty to capture and preserve the history of the Pacific City dory fleet. The story of that work, and an inside look at a fascinating piece of Oregon history, is featured in this issue of Linfield Magazine. You will also meet a faculty member who has published her first novel and is helping other young authors reach for their dreams. Two non-traditional students share the challenges and joy of returning to college to complete their degrees. Linfield students get hands-on experience in the labs, in the classrooms, on the coast and in the theatre, taught by dedicated and gifted faculty. There are many stories and these are just a few.
