Linfield College faculty are dedicated to teaching young people by engaging and challenging them within and outside the classroom. But Linfield faculty are not limited by their professional fields – they sing, play music, and explore topics far beyond their own specialties, thus enhancing their teaching skills. Here we profile five, just a sampling of the talented faculty with whom students interact. We also feature the work of two talented alumni – award-winning photojournalists who share some spectacular photos. You'll find stories on several students, one who is helping revive her native language, one whose internship brought focus to her career, and another a budding composer who shares her insight into musical composition. We also say farewell, not just to 480 graduates and five faculty and administrators, but also to President Vivian A. Bull who, in her final column, reviews the charge students gave at her inauguration.
