Volume 13, Number 1 (2016) Summer 2016
Linfield nurses are special. With an education grounded in the liberal arts, they delve deeper. Critical thinking and a holistic approach to nursing and health is at the heart of a Linfield nursing education. In this issue, we take a closer look at the community health-based approach built into the curriculum. We also say goodbye and share a few memories from eight professors who retired this year. Learn why one of our celebrated faculty members is a dedicated teacher and get a glimpse of this year’s commencement celebration. We share the story of Linfield students who mentor local sixth graders and of an alumna who has leveraged her love of all things Chinese into a career. Even as we celebrate the end of one school year, we look forward to new adventures ahead.
