Former faculty member and Linfield College alumnus Roy D. "Hap" Mahaffey smiles for the camera. Professor Mahaffey was a pioneer in forensics education. The annual Mahaffey Memorial Collegiate Forensics Tournament, one of the oldest in the United States, is named in his honor.
