Description
In 1977, the Table Wine Research Advisory Board (WAB) created a tax purely on grapes for a period of four years. After the WAB turned into the Oregon Wine Board, a decision was made in 1981 to increase the tax on grapes. Here, Oregon Governor Victor G. Atiyeh signs the legislation to increase the tax.
