crisscrossing Science Episode 068: Weighty Topics
Abstract
In this episode, Mike Crosser (professor of physics at Linfield College) and Chad Tillberg (professor of biology at Linfield College) finish discussing how units are currently defined and how they have changed through time. The kilogram has now been redefined so that it is no longer based on the mass of a particular hunk of metal in Paris. They also talk about the various units for temperature.
