Artist's Statement
Within every house there is a unique story that comes along with it. In our house of cards there is a delicate but structured story behind every little tooth pick. Each tooth pick has its own rhythm and texture, some curvy, skinny, thick, dark, or light, each unique in its own way. A senior and a fresh-meat teamed up together to create the structure of 15 individual cards all following the same pattern and proportion. We used repetition to balance the cards together. This unity created a one of a kind 3D house.
