Artist's Statement
"When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die." (Cersel Lannister)
As collaborative artists we were eager to bring something unique and insightful to the table with this piece. We ambitiously incorporated everyone's individual interest which centered on fantasy and political power. The throne represents omnipotent power over all of its subjects. Made purely out of melted swords of fallen enemies, the swords represent the power and fear that's required to reign. The skull is symbolic for the inevitable fate of all who try and rule with an iron fist.
