From the Garden
From the Garden, a suite of plein-air paintings by Ronald Mills de Pinyas, was presented by the Linfield Gallery and the Department of Art and Visual Culture at the Studio Gallery at Linfield College from October 10 through November 12, 2011. With these paintings, Mills de Pinyas responds to the complex vitality and chromatic luminosity of botanical elements staged so artfully in his wife's gardens. The show was dedicated to his wife, María Isabel Pinyas de Mills. An accompanying exhibit, Blind Corners, Portals and Turning Points, was presented at the Linfield Gallery during the same period.
