Abstract

This article focuses on Bjelland Vineyards and its prospects for future growth and development. Paul Bjelland is interviewed about the sales of Bjelland wines around the world, as well as some of the trials he faces as a vintner. In 1973 Bjelland Vineyards produced 2,100 gallons of wine, and Bjelland hoped to increase this to 3,000 gallons in 1974; in time, Bjelland would like to see production increase to 20,000 gallons annually. The article is accompanied by a photograph of Paul Bjelland "cooping" a wine barrel.
