Description

"Aunt Emily" is sitting on a bench in the hospital garden accompanied by her nephew, Paul Heslop, and a nurse. She is seen here holding a puppy. The photo was taken during the early 1900s. The nickname "Aunt Emily" is indicated in the caption below the image, and was a name commonly used to refer to Emily Loveridge's close relationships with her nursing students and the Good Samaritan Hospital staff. The annotations indicate that the page comes from the Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing in 1966.
