About DigitalCommons@Linfield

DigitalCommons@Linfield, a service of the Jereld R. Nicholson Library, is a dynamic institutional repository based on the principle of Open Access. It is a place for collecting, sharing, and providing long-term access to the scholarly and creative works of Linfield University faculty, students, and staff. DigitalCommons@Linfield also includes content from Linfield’s Archives and Special Collections. This repository enhances and deepens Linfield’s mission to connect learning, life, and community.

Examples of content are: student papers or projects, faculty-student collaborative projects, journals published by the Linfield community, published articles when copyright and/or license allow, faculty teaching and learning scholarship, working papers, conference papers and technical reports, and organizational annual reports and newsletters.

The content of the repository is discoverable by Google, Google Scholar, and other search engines, which makes it easy to share and collaborate with anyone connected to the Internet. The content is available to be used responsibly under fair use for personal and educational purposes or with the permission of the authors or copyright holders.

Members of the Linfield University community are invited to contribute content to DigitalCommons@Linfield by contacting the Digital Commons coordinator.
