Description
The dining room Captains gather at Salishan Lodge in Gleneden Beach, Oregon. Phillip DeVito was the cellar master and maître d’hôtel at Salishan from 1972-1994. He was an early proponent of women being designated Captains in the dining room, a role traditionally reserved for men.
