Abstract

This lecture shares the results of a pilot study conducted by Dr. Tanya Tompkins (professor of psychology at Linfield College) and her students, which was designed to reduce stigma toward the transgender (TG) community. She discusses implications of these findings for teaching and future work on changing attitudes toward the TG community.
