Description

This scrapbook celebrates the awarding of an honorary doctorate degree to Linfield alumnus Robert C. McHarness in 1982. Robert graduated in 1928 and went on to a successful career as a research chemist for DuPont. President Charles U. Walker and the Linfield faculty and trustees chose to award McHarness with an honorary Doctor of Science degree and the letters, speeches, and photos from the event are included.
