Abstract

Students enrolled in the Regional Interdisciplinary Internship course prepare final presentations covering all of their work during the spring semester and present their work to their colleagues, Linfield staff and faculty, community partners, and community sponsors of the internship programs. Nicholaus Miles interned with The International Pinot Noir Festival and gave this presentation as part of his Kemper Internship during 2012.

During the spring and summer of 2011, Miles worked on a documentary to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of the International Pinot Noir Celebration (IPNC). In collaboration with Dr. Jeff Peterson and Dr. Michael Huntsberger, a team organized and conducted interviews with winemakers from around the Willamette Valley. The documentary, which premiered at the 2011 IPNC, provided a brief history of the event and looked at aspects that make IPNC unique from similar events held around the world.
