Abstract

I conducted primary research into the life of James Connolly, Irish revolutionary, at the National Library of Ireland, the National Archives of Ireland, and other venues. My project was to research Connolly’s time in America (1902-1910) and its impact on his intellectual development. I also spent one month as a Moore Fellow at the National University of Ireland at Galway (where Linfield students go for an Irish study abroad experience) working on my project and preparing for a debate on Connolly with other scholars at the Galway Mechanics Institute.
