Abstract
During my Fall 2016 sabbatical, I worked on both teaching and research projects. I reviewed and adopted new textbooks for two of my courses and made a number of smaller revisions and updates to several courses. In terms of research, I revised and shortened a research paper that I had previously presented at a conference and submitted it to a journal. And I embarked on a new study of how small businesses use social network sites such as Facebook for public relations purposes. That work in progress is tentatively titled “Communication Strategies Employed by Small Businesses on Facebook.”
