Description
This project focuses on my original composition, Piano Concerto No. 1. This work is scored for a combination of 22 wind, brass, and percussion instruments as well as solo piano. It was completed during the fall 2013 semester. Cast in the form of five movements, the entire work is approximately 20 minutes in duration. A live recording with the composer conducting will be provided for a portion of the work during the symposium; the remainder of the work will be heard through Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) files. A full orchestral score is provided.
