Description
This project proposes to have elementary school students participate in planning, producing, preparing and tasting of school garden produce. Food preferences pertaining to familiar and novel varieties were surveyed before and after the garden program and percentage changes measured. Student participants are hypothesized to gain enhanced consumption habits and food preferences pertaining to produce in their diets.
