Description
The one-person play can be educational while it entertains. In multi-cast plays, the actors play off each other. In a one-person play the actor plays off of the audience. The solo drama provides a unique and intimate relationship between the character and the audience. That relationship sheds light on the character being portrayed and on a different time in history or place. Often the monodrama is biographical, a play written about a well known person. Whether the play is about a famous person or a totally made up character, the audience will have a unique insight into the mind and the heart of that individual. This play was directed and performed by the author.
