Howard Hinsdale is photographed during an oral history interview at the Jereld R. Nicholson Library at Linfield College on January 17, 2016. Hinsdale was interviewed by Linfield College Archives staff Rich Schmidt.

From 2004 to 2015, Howard Hinsdale was the owner of Howard Hinsdale Cellars & Bistro in Silverton, Oregon. After turning 70, Hinsdale sold the business to Joel Autry, a resident of Silverton with years of experience and local connections.
