Dr. Brian Schmidt, a co-recipient of the 2011 Nobel Prize in Physics, presents a public lecture as part of the Oregon Nobel Laureate Symposium at Linfield College. In this lecture, Schmidt discusses how science works, how and why we do science, how his life progressed in science, and offers some advice for students pursuing a future in the sciences.
